Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--9.75, 5.6; HindIII--11.6, 4.5; EcoRI--6.9, 6.0, 1.9, 0.72; BglI--11.4, 1.71, 2.5; BamHI--10.6, 1.51, 1.2, 0.84, 0.52. The BglII polymorphism shows co-dominant segregation in 60 families. A 1.1 kb PstI/BamHI fragment has been used to detect the BglII polymorphism. RFLPs observed under normal stringency (0.1X SSC). |
