Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--4.3, 1.0; EcoRI--4.4, 0.68; BamHI--5.2; HIndIII--5.2; SalI--5.2; consistent with deposited DNA. Codominant segregation was observed in 43 three-generation families. This probe has significant lane background, but RFLPs were observed under normal hybridization and wash stringencies. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, BglII, EcoRI, HindIII, MspI, PstI, PvuII and RsaI. |
